The evening I could no longer get off the sofa
Rock bottom
- Witnessed by my partner at home
- Locked spine after driving
- Total surrender to sitting ache
The absolute low point arrived on a Tuesday evening in late October.
I had spent the day driving between regional warehouses and came home completely drained. When I finally sat down on our firm living room sofa, my lumbar spine seized tight.
Nathan was visiting and had to physically hoist me by my elbows just so I could stand up to reach the kitchen.
I felt completely humiliated standing there in front of family.
I quietly wondered how many more years I could realistically stay in a desk and driving job.
Something had to change immediately. See the Reader Offer

Does the bottom cushion slide forward when you get in and out of a fabric car seat? My old donut cushion slid every single time.

The non-slip textured base grips firmly on both cloth and leather seats. I take mine between my desk chair and my SUV without issues.

It does add a little bit of height in smaller hatchback cars, but lowering the seat base by one notch solved that for me right away.

Bought the two-pack deal so I could keep one permanently in my work van and one on my home gaming chair. Great support all day.

How does the foam hold up after several weeks of daily eight-hour shifts? Does it compress flat like generic store foam?

The high-density memory foam core maintains its firm shape day after day. It rebounds slowly and provides steady lumbar support.
